It almost always snows in September here in Montana.  The Loman Homestead is up in the rockies, on a southern facing slope of a valley, so we get slightly different weather than the nearest forecast station of Helena, even though the city is only 10 miles away.  That being said, we ALMOST made it out of September without snow, but here it is, the last day of the month and the snow’s coming down.

Doesn’t look like it will stick, but it’s perfect wood stove and hot cocoa weather!
